All Ireland champion Ciara with her Community Games medal from May 2019
Scoil Nuachabháil is immensely proud of local girl Ciara Murphy on her wonderful achievement in winning the U-12 Solo Singing All Ireland Final at the Community Games in May 2019.
Ciara has just finished her time in Scoil Nuachabháil where she often treated us to some wonderful performances, both with her tremendous voice and beautiful interpretations of her songs.
We were very lucky to hear her rendition of “If I were a rich man” from “Fiddler on the Roof” which she sang to her mesmirised school friends in the school last year.
Ciara’s voice is both powerful and subtle and she tells her stories with marvelous expression and charismatic charm. We are all positive that music will play a huge part in Ciara’s future and we wish her the very best in her studies.
